Nikobe has assured me the extra time is just not worth it. If you are going to get it, you need to get down to HMV. They have some special packaging that actually made me think about buying it again. The box is actually a thin head (about the thickness of a normal DVD box) that opens out, with the disks inside. Annoyingly the Rorschach head contains the DVD version, and Dr Manhattan has the Blu-Ray version (annoying that.. I was really looking forward to the extra footage in it, like more story on the original Nightowl for example, but if they aren't things to really be impressed about then maybe I will download it (like my friend did) and watch it from that instead. I watched it in the cinema when it was first on and really enjoyed it. So I am not gonna buy the same version and then an extended version later on so I already decided that I will wait. I'm not a huge fan of unnecessary gore either and the UK one is just right...really no need to zoom in and show someone having fingers shot off.
