Blizzard reveals further plans for their forums Battle.net ForumSo now when this change goes live when you post on any official blizzard forum you will be posting with your full RL name. Well let's just say the forums are a mess and they have barely gotten any positive feedback to these changes. Believe the US thread is 1000 pages+ and the EU thread is on about 250 pages atm. Well I'll just say discuss.. I sure as hell know I'll never be touching the blizzard forums again...

To be honest i've not been on the blizzard forums in a couple of years except to check the technical support for servers etc. So this change doesn't really affect me, I got very sick of trolls and a complete lack of content so maybe this change will alter that for the better. However, in terms of my own posting, it certainly makes me less keen to broadcast my name in a public forum

I haven't particularly used them either. But I'll still say I ain't very happy about the changes. There is other ways to fight trolls.. Ways that keeps the community on the forums.. Besides I'll never be able to post on the tech support forums since I refuse to share my name like that. Not that I've never needed to posted on the tech forums.. But you never know when the time comes...

Well since it's such a massive outrage, I wasn't really suprised.
