I just found this site, which has a list of 80's Cartoon intro's after browsing the youtube lists. www.cartoonintros.comThat's just fucking brilliant. Some awesome memories there. Especially GI Joe/Action Force, Galaxy Rangers, Centurions and Jayce and Wheeled Warriors are the Cartoons I had completely forgotten about until I found this site. Other notable Cartoons are of course, Transformers, MASK, Thundercats (they were my top 3), Gummi Bears, Visionaries, Defenders of the Earth, Dogtanian, Ghostbusters, Superted, Inspector Gadget, Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, Bravestarr and the Cartoon I fell in love with the most, the Mysterious Cities of Gold, such an awesome Cartoon that was. « Last edit by Takatori on Thu Jun 04, 2009 6:32 pm. »

I used to have the full ripped episodes of MSoG which was :boosh: and one of my favourite cartoons. I believe you can buy the full re-mastered box set tho.

does anyone remember i think it was called phoenix force or phoenix force 5? i guess im a little older than most of you and this was a very early memory (hmm i should look it up i spose), also later i liked cities of gold and another in same style i think may have just been called ulyses (both with spaceships) were both nice.
edit: after a quick search on youtube it looks like it was called g-force but cant view the clips from this crappy pc im on.

Yeah G-Force Battle of the Planets was good, as well as Ulysses 31. A lot of good memories in these cartoons

Sarah/Zen got Ulysses 31 for her birthday and we sat and watched the whole thing over a week, not many old shows really work now but Ulysses is really well done and still feels very fresh. I just kept thinking how easy it would be to just re-record in live action and have a ready made show. Just ordered the 25th Anniversary Turtles series DVD (Now Ninja's not "hero") http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/9151498/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-25th-Anniversary-Special-Edition/Product.html

I used to love "Pole Position" and "Centurions" but they never survived more then one series. But how could you beat "Transformers" and "Thunder Cats Was thinking the same, missed: "Cities of Gold", "Ulysses 31", "Battle of the Planets" But what about " The Raccoons" or " Terrahawks" (though that's not a cartoon)

Hehe yeah Raccoons I remember as well. I thought about adding it but then I'd have to add ALL of them, and it's a large list... Droids, Gobots just a couple others Terrahawks - I was talking to my friend about cartoons the other day, remembering them all and he mentioned Terrahawks, but he said that I should search it out and be ready to be slightly disturbed since it's so old and.. weird. Yeah definitely something strange that's for sure!
