My work has a lot of good things and bad things going for it. Possibly the biggest pro has to be that they sent me to our Tokyo office to do some work. Oh and in case your wondering, you can be sure there are Big Giant robots involved… oh yes… and Pirate Ships too. This was business first and vacation second although thanks to my colleagues Yugo and Yuichi I managed to go to a fantastic couple of figure shops Thursday and had a great night drinking with Yugo in a traditional Japanese bar on Friday night which leads to where things really get going. Visiting Japan
I’ve been asked a couple of times for advice on visiting Japan and so I thought I’d just blog it and send everyone here.
I’m no expert, I’ve twice visited Japan, the first time was a hectic 9 day self-tour of Tokyo, Hakone, Kyota & Osaka. The second, a more leisurely 9 days in Tokyo as part of the Manga Tour of Japan which I definitely recommend although you should definitely have a few more days in Japan afterwards. http://www.japanjourneys.co.uk/manga.htm
