Tenchi Universe is an expanded re-telling of the OVA, I prefer it to the original OVA as Kiyone is fun. Tenchi in Tokyo is just poor (although still better than Tenchi GXP or the last OVA)

Yeah the pilot was never mean’t to be the pilot so its a bit odd, the latest one sounds quite scary will download it tonight.

Speaking of girls without memory, was watching “Battle Angel Alita” the other day its still good if a little dated. Found a load of old series to download so grabbed that and the whole of Tenchi Muyo.

Sideswipe can you remember which of the spinoffs was worth watching, was it Universe or In Tokyo? I know they are both ok but seem to remember one being pretty damn good.

As you know the concept of “Dolls” is not new. Especially in Japan where they love the stores of the girl without a memory, or being controlled by an evil power of some kind.

But you are right, such a shame she did not get more time in the anime. Her own spin off would be great. She is far more interesting as an idea than all the others, something “Doll house” is using as there own.

Looking forward to the “Doll house” review. I am hearing some good things about the latest episode. Much better than the pilot apparently

Wiped memory and “Dolls” maybe Capcom should have a word with the creators of Dollhouse (which I’ve seen the first of btw…review incoming after I watch a few more).

Was always a shame she wasn’t in the anime movie more, her one scene was great but far too short.
